2021 Sino-Russian Teacher Education Forum Held in CCNU

On December 2nd, the 2021 Sino-Russian Teacher Education Forum was held online with the theme of “Teacher Education Reform and Innovation under the Background of Artificial Intelligence”. Scholars of 21 member universities of the China-Russia Alliance of Normal Universities attended the forum. The opening ceremony was hosted by Peng Shuangjie, Vice President of CCNU, and was attended by Zhao Lingyun, Chairman of University Council of CCNU, Xia Lixin, Vice President of CCNU and other representatives.

At the opening ceremony, Zhao Lingyun pointed out that the China-Russia Alliance of Normal Universities is an important platform to strengthen Sino-Russian cultural exchanges and enhance the academic communication and cooperation between the universities of the two countries. Zhao introduced that CCNU took the initiative to meet the strategic needs of education reform in the era of intelligence and founded the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence in Education. He expected that universities in the alliance could have in-depth exchanges and discussions through this forum.

After the opening ceremony, professors made thematic lectures on artificial intelligence and teacher education respectively.
